The Touch a Life Center is administered from home for girls in Colombo. The Ceylon Association supports the home, but Children Incorporated sponsorship provides additional support to other needs for the augmentation of nutritional intake of the girls and providing them with school supplies and clothes, which are provided with limitations from the Association. We still have children from the neighborhood who are also enrolled in the Children Incorporated program, and they come to the Center twice a month to collect food, school supplies, clothing, or shoes from the Children Incorporated support. We have provided additional funding for mosquito nets and, during the pandemic, hygiene items that were very beneficial to all boarders and others enrolled in the Children Incorporated program.

All of the children enrolled at Touch a Life with Hope Center met with us and shared information on the benefits they received. They indicated that without those benefits, they would have a hard time completing their education, let alone thinking about higher education.

The home, located in a good area of the city, is adequate and provides a nurturing environment for the girls. The building houses two large dorms, an adequate kitchen and dining hall, and a section for administration. In the middle, there is a landscaped small area, and in the back, they have the toilets and washrooms. To the side of the administration area, there is another section with trees, flowers, and grass that are for everyone to enjoy some quiet times and relaxation.
