When a child leaves our program for any reason, our policy is to promptly notify you by mail and provide you with information on another child who is equally in need of your support and encouragement, in the hopes that you will accept him or her as your new sponsored child. If, in the event that your sponsored child leaves the program, you would like for us to contact you before sending information on another child, please let us know by telephone or email.
Unfortunately, we usually lose contact with children once they leave our sponsorship program. But rest assured: the positive impact of your generosity on each child, as well as on his or her community, endures for a lifetime!
What is Children Incorporated?
Children Incorporated provides basic necessities such as food, clothing, healthcare and educational support to children living in poverty in the U.S. and abroad. These essentials, so often taken for granted, are vital to a child’s growth and success in school. Each year, we give thousands of children in need all over the world a chance at a better life.
Today, thanks to our supporters around the globe, we now have 235 affiliated sites in 20 countries, including the United States, which serve over 20,000 children annually. To date, our programs have provided over 300,000 children with desperately needed support.

Your sponsorship does more than just feed or clothe a child. For $30 a month, you not only help meet the basic and critical needs of a child, but you also make an investment in his or her future.
Our policy has always been to consider the needs of each sponsored child on an individual basis. We work closely with our volunteer coordinators at our affiliated sites, who are familiar with each individual circumstance and the needs of every child in their care.
Sponsorship donations are sent to our affiliated sites – community centers, childcare centers, and established schools – at the beginning of each month in the form of subsidy stipends. Our onsite volunteer coordinators use the funds to purchase basic and education-related items for children in our program to ensure that they have what they need to do their very best and succeed in school. Additionally, children benefit from the knowledge that a caring person is concerned for their well-being.
