There are many pros to sponsoring a child living in poverty. First, you are helping a child who otherwise has no access to basic needs, which can prevent him or her from going to school and receiving an education.

When you become a sponsor, you make a fundamental difference in the life of a child in need, and the effects of your sponsorship can last a lifetime. There are no real cons to sponsoring a child, but as you follow the progress of your sponsored child, you may at times feel that you wish you could do more. Children Incorporated offers many ways to further assist the child you support, and we are always here to answer your questions as they arise.

Today, thanks to our supporters around the globe, we now have 235 affiliated sites in 20 countries, including the United States, which serve over 20,000 children annually.

what is children incorporated?

Children Incorporated provides basic necessities such as food, clothing, healthcare and educational support to children living in poverty in the U.S. and abroad. These essentials, so often taken for granted, are vital to a child’s growth and success in school. Each year, we give thousands of children in need all over the world a chance at a better life.

Today, thanks to our supporters around the globe, we now have 235 affiliated sites in 20 countries, including the United States, which serve over 20,000 children annually. To date, our programs have provided over 300,000 children with desperately needed support.

Your sponsorship does more than just feed or clothe a child. For $35 a month, you not only help meet the basic and critical needs of a child, but you also make an investment in his or her future.

Our policy has always been to consider the needs of each sponsored child on an individual basis. We work closely with our volunteer coordinators at our affiliated sites, who are familiar with each individual circumstance and the needs of every child in their care.

Sponsorship donation’s are sent to our affiliated sites – community centers, childcare centers, and established schools – at the beginning of each month in the form of subsidy stipends. Our onsite volunteer coordinators use the funds to purchase basic and education-related items for children in our program to ensure that they have what they need to do their very best and succeed in school. Additionally, children benefit from the knowledge that a caring person is concerned for their well-being.
