Our only regular volunteers at our affiliated sites around the world are the on-site volunteers who manage our sponsorship program, but we do have other opportunities for you to volunteer with us!

We are always in need of volunteers to translate child letters from Spanish to English for our sponsors, which can de done remotely or at our office in Richmond, Virginia. We are also always in need of volunteers to work as ambassadors for our organization who help us to spread the word about the work Children Incorporated is doing around the world.

Please call our office at (800) 538-5381 or email us at hello@childrenincorporated.org for more information!

SPONSOR A CHILD

What is Children Incorporated?

Children Incorporated provides basic necessities such as food, clothing, healthcare and educational support to children living in poverty in the U.S. and abroad. These essentials, so often taken for granted, are vital to a child’s growth and success in school. Each year, we give thousands of children in need all over the world a chance at a better life.

Today, thanks to our supporters around the globe, we now have 235 affiliated sites in 20 countries, including the United States, which serve over 20,000 children annually.

Today, thanks to our supporters around the globe, we now have 235 affiliated sites in 20 countries, including the United States, which serve over 20,000 children annually. To date, our programs have provided over 300,000 children with desperately needed support.

Your sponsorship does more than just feed or clothe a child. For $30 a month, you not only help meet the basic and critical needs of a child, but you also make an investment in his or her future.

Our policy has always been to consider the needs of each sponsored child on an individual basis. We work closely with our volunteer coordinators at our affiliated sites, who are familiar with each individual circumstance and the needs of every child in their care.

Sponsorship donations are sent to our affiliated sites – community centers, childcare centers, and established schools – at the beginning of each month in the form of subsidy stipends. Our onsite volunteer coordinators use the funds to purchase basic and education-related items for children in our program to ensure that they have what they need to do their very best and succeed in school. Additionally, children benefit from the knowledge that a caring person is concerned for their well-being.
