Brookland Middle School in Washington, D.C  serves children in grades sixth through eighth. It is located in Ward 5. This is one of the largest wards in the city, with more than 90,000 residents. Stuart-Hobson Middle School is located in Ward 6. This ward is truly the heart of Washington, D.C.’s history. It is the only ward that is situated within the boundaries of the original city as outlined in the L’Enfant Plan.
