Visit Our Affiliated Sites Around the World

For sixty years, Children Incorporated has worked to reach children in some of the most impoverished communities in the world. Our goal is to ensure that no matter where a child lives, they have the opportunity to get an education and succeed in life. Currently, we work with 225 affiliated sites in 20 countries to provide resources for children in need.

Working with Local Volunteers

A staff member at each site — whether it be a school, orphanage, or community center — in every community where we work administers our programs on a volunteer basis; they are known as our volunteer coordinators. Our on-site volunteer coordinators facilitate our sponsorship program for children living in poverty in 20 countries, including the United States.

Our Sites in the Rural United States

We support children who are living in rural parts of the United States through our sponsorship program and through our special funds. We provide basic needs for kids living in the Navajo Nation of Arizona and New Mexico, and in rural areas of West Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Sponsorship provides basic needs to children living in these areas, whose families are struggling to provide for them.

Our Sites in Africa

In Africa, we support children in Ethiopia and Kenya, providing them with funds for school fees, uniforms, school supplies, and food. In countries where school tuition typically exists for all grade levels, and where children are sometimes even required to purchase their own desks, sponsorship support is critical in ensuring that many African children living in poverty have the opportunity to receive an education.

Our Sites in South America

In South America, we support children in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru, and Colombia. Our sponsorship program provides support for children through the purchase of clothes, food, school supplies, and hygiene items, as well as provides skills training programs for their parents, so that they may have a chance to generate income to better support their families.
