Richmond Public Schools celebrate the grand opening of Cardinal Elementary School on Richmonds southside with a ribbon-cutting and ceremony that includes RPS leaders : School Superintendent Jason Kamras, school board chair, Cheryl Burke, school board member, Nicole Jones and Del. Betsy Carr are in attendance with students, the principal, Dr. Juven Abrego- Meneses and the schools mascot, the Cardinal. The new schools motto is: We are Birds of a feather, Soaring together.
