In Kenya, a friend and colleague of Children, Incorporated, Mr. Gerald
Wagana, recently visited all six of our projects there. This was a great
opportunity to meet with the families, the children and the on-site coord-
inator to ensure that they are receiving the full benefit of your support.
This invaluable time was spent listening and learning about current needs
and new ways to meet them.
Children, Incorporated serves 656 children in Kenya through community
centers and schools in Kisii, Meru and Nairobi. With generous sponsor
support, these children have access to three meals a day as well as any
medical care they may need. Sponsors and other generous donors have
also made it possible for one project to have a new library, another project
to receive support for health and hygiene needs, and a third project to
have a well drilled to provide safe drinking water. Our efforts in Kenya
represent an ongoing challenge and a commitment to a mission that
transcends merely taking care of basic needs. Thank you to all of you who
